Job Summary

We are representing a globally recognized FORTUNE 500 Aerospace and Defense organization seeking a Plant Manager due to a recent promotion. This role involves leading Plant Production and Manufacturing Engineering, implementing world-class processes to improve plant KPIs and deliverables.

Position Overview

• Reporting to the Divisional VP/GM, overseeing plant operations with 4 salaried direct reports in an 80-employee foundry environment.
• Ownership of the manufacturing/production functions.
• Provide strategic direction aligned with company goals.
• Establish and monitor Production KPIs and deliverables.
• Lead problem-solving initiatives for plant and customer issues.
• Drive process improvements and corrective actions.
• Contribute to the development of the department's strategic business plan and track key metrics.
• This plant has fewer than 100 employees, supplying materials to other NA sites, making it a critical operation.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a Technical field preferred.
• 2-5 years of leadership experience in Operations, Production, or Engineering.
• Strong background in Operational Excellence, Lean Manufacturing, or Continuous Improvement.
• Experience in Metals or Foundry manufacturing is preferred.
