Job Overview

Humareso is working with a leading food manufacturer of high-quality frozen products, sauces, and specialty foods serving retail, club, and food service markets. We seek a dynamic and experienced Plant Manager to join the team.

Responsibilities include overseeing daily plant operations such as production, staffing, quality control, safety, maintenance, and logistics. The role requires a proactive leader with experience in food manufacturing, strong leadership skills, and a passion for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and quality.
  • Lead and manage plant staff including supervisors, line workers, maintenance, and quality teams.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards (FDA, USDA, HACCP) and internal procedures.
  • Monitor metrics and implement process improvements to optimize productivity.
  • Manage production schedules and inventory control.
  • Collaborate with sales and supply chain teams to meet customer demands.
  • Promote a safety-first culture and ensure OSHA compliance.
  • Oversee preventive maintenance programs.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Science, Operations Management, or related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years in food manufacturing.
  • 3+ years in plant leadership or operations management.
  • Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety regulations.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
