About the Role

The Plant Manager will lead the planning, organization, and control of raw material mining and product production at the designated plant, ensuring timely and cost-efficient operations that meet Aggregate Dispatcher requests. The role involves maintaining product quality, staffing, inventory monitoring, and coordinating with various departments including Operations, Fleet Maintenance, and Quality Control.

The Plant Manager will analyze production efficiency, develop strategies to improve productivity, prioritize safety, and manage costs effectively.

What You'll Accomplish
  • Promote safety and environmental policies, fostering a culture of safety.
  • Identify operational opportunities and develop efficiency strategies.
  • Balance customer needs with long-term company interests.
  • Implement production and scheduling programs to enhance productivity while maintaining safety and budget controls.
  • Manage personnel performance, delegate responsibilities, and evaluate staff objectively.
  • Participate in safety and MSHA inspections.
  • Communicate with the site crew, supervise operations, and schedule maintenance routines.
  • Maintain inventory levels to meet customer needs.
  • Oversee rail circuit loading/unloading between Stringtown and DFW area.
Additional Requirements

Adherence to safety protocols and proper PPE use, including respirator requirements, is mandatory.

What We’re Looking For

Education: Bachelor's degree or 5-7 years of relevant experience

Preferred Field: Mining Engineering, Management

Experience: 5-7 years in Aggregate Mining and Raw Materials Plant Production

Skills: Proficiency in computer use; SAP experience is a plus.
