Job summary

US Aggregates is seeking a Maintenance/Laborer to help keep our Indiana plant running smoothly. You will service heavy equipment, fuel and grease machinery, and perform daily housekeeping to support continuous production. You’ll also assist with repairs and report safety concerns to the Plant Manager.

The role requires basic English, math, reliable attendance, and the ability to work with a team in varying shifts, including days, nights, and weekends. Strong safety focus is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Regular attendance and dependable performance required.
• Able to read, write, and communicate in English with basic math skills.
• Follow safety procedures and complete documentation as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service heavy equipment (loaders, skid steers, haul trucks).
• Fuel, oil, grease equipment and perform safety checks.
• Shovel, sweep and keep plant clean and production-ready.
• Assist in repairs and general maintenance when not in production.
• Communicate conditions to management and implement improvements.
