Job summary

US Aggregates in Indiana is seeking an Equipment Operator/Laborer to maintain production, safety, and quality in the Operations area. You will operate heavy equipment like front-end loaders, haul trucks, and skid steers, conduct pre-shift checks, fuel and service equipment, and keep accurate records.

Candidates should have a High School diploma, be able to read and follow safety rules, work days/nights/weekends, and communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• Requires High School or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Must maintain regular attendance and performance.
• Follows written and verbal directions; completes tasks on schedule.
• Basic math understanding; reading safety manuals.

Responsibilities

• Operate, service, and maintain heavy equipment to keep plant in production.
• Fuel, oil, grease, and perform preventive checks on equipment.
• Record activity, inventory, and maintenance logs as directed.
• Follow safety rules and PPE requirements; participate in safety training.
• Complete required trainings and certifications for safe operation.
• Perform duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervision.
