Job summary

US Aggregates in Indianapolis is seeking a Maintenance/Laborer to support daily upkeep, equipment servicing, and general plant duties. You will operate and maintain loaders, skid steers, and haul trucks as needed to keep production running.

The position requires a High School diploma, reliable attendance, English literacy, basic math, and a commitment to safety. Occasional nights and weekends may be required; strong teamwork and hands-on maintenance skills are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Regular, dependable attendance and high performance.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English and perform basic math.
• Knowledge of US Aggregates Safety and Operating principles.
• Ability to complete documentation, recordkeeping, and daily inventory.
• Willingness to work with a team, take direction, and adapt to duties.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends.
• Strong welding, torching, and maintenance skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain heavy equipment including loaders, skid steers, and haul trucks to keep the plant in production.
• Fuel, oil, grease equipment and follow safety manuals.
• Perform pre-shift and end-of-shift checks and maintenance.
• Maintain plant housekeeping and repairs on mobile and stationary equipment.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and report safety concerns.
• Communicate equipment conditions and improvement ideas with management.
• Assist with daily maintenance, inventory, and documentation.
• Flexibility to take on additional duties as assigned.
