Job summary

US Aggregates, headquartered in Indianapolis with multiple Indiana operations, seeks a Maintenance/Laborer to support plant upkeep and daily production. You may operate plant equipment and assist in repairs when the plant is not running, performing housekeeping and safety tasks to keep operations smooth.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, regular attendance, and the ability to read and follow safety procedures. Flexibility for day, night, and weekend shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintain regular attendance and perform tasks on schedule.
• Read, write, and communicate in English; basic math.
• Experience with safety procedures and equipment maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain heavy equipment to keep the plant in production.
• Fuel, oil, grease equipment and follow the safety manual.
• Perform pre-shift and end-of-shift checks and maintenance.
• Assist in plant repairs and housekeeping; document activities.
• Communicate with management on equipment condition and improvements.
• Work days, nights, weekends as needed.
