Job summary

Fabpro Polymers in Kingman, KS is seeking a Maintenance Technician to repair malfunctioning motors, controls, pumps, and related equipment. The role may involve operating grinders and lathes and requires safe use of hand tools and power tools.

You will troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic issues on process equipment and perform preventive maintenance to keep production running smoothly. Night and weekend shifts may be needed.

Qualifications

• 3 years of industrial maintenance mechanic or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to analyze problems and error conditions on the production floor, identify root causes, and implement viable solutions.
• Safety oriented and committed to safe operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensures operation of machinery and equipment by completing preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyors, vacuum systems, and production machines; troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop equipment.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Exercise safety when using hand tools and power tools.
• Have skills for using hand and power tools for light fabrication and welding.
• Exercise good housekeeping, well organized toolbox and shop.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks on machines that are assigned.
• Perform repairs on production-down equipment.
• Perform other tasks as instructed by management.
