Job summary

NOV Fiberglass Systems in Wichita, KS is seeking a maintenance technician to partner with leadership and reduce downtime, repair production equipment, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires reading drawings, performing preventative maintenance, and safely using hand tools and shop equipment. Cross-training and ability to work a fast-paced manufacturing environment are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in fabrication, mechanical and electrical repair using shop tools preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Ability to read and use precision gauges, drawings, and technical instructions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to safely use hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and perform maintenance to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
• Repair production equipment safely and efficiently after breakdowns.
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Fabricate, modify, and install equipment as needed.
• Support continuous improvement projects and assigned initiatives.
