Job summary

PTMW, Inc. in Topeka, KS, is seeking a skilled PFAB Maintenance Technician to ensure production equipment runs efficiently to support quality and on-time delivery.

You will work with press brakes, punch/shear, CO2 laser/punch, roll form, CNC router, and robotic loading and material handling in a dynamic fabrication environment. This role requires a Technical Certificate, strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Detail-oriented with an ownership mindset.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Willingness to work overtime to meet demand.
• Capable of lifting up to 100 lbs.
• Able to pass pre-employment background check, drug screen, physical capacity test, and breath alcohol.

Responsibilities

• Develop a thorough understanding of equipment operations to diagnose machine failures.
• Perform scheduled maintenance to minimize production downtime.
• Update and maintain the Preventative Maintenance database.
• Install and replace punches and dies for machinery.
• Operate a surface grinder for sharpening punches and dies.
• Conduct building maintenance as needed.
