Qualifications

• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted

Responsibilities

• Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment
• Detects malfunction by listening for unusual sounds and discusses issues with supervisors
• Dismantles defective machines and installs new or repaired parts
• Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other components
• Schedules maintenance to avoid hindering production timelines
• Coordinates repairs to support production schedules
• Installs and repairs electrical apparatus and components
• Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipes and related equipment
• Repairs and maintains the physical structure of the establishment
• May perform non-maintenance duties as needed
