Qualifications

• Education/experience requirement: One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, and piping systems.
• Inspects and tests machinery and equipment; listens for unusual sounds to diagnose problems.
• Dismantles and replaces defective parts; cleans and lubricates components.
• Schedules and coordinates maintenance to avoid production delays; assists with repairs as needed.
• Repairs and maintains electrical components and hydraulic/pneumatic equipment.
• May perform non-maintenance duties as needed.

Education
