Job summary

Meadow Gold has an immediate job opening for a skilled Plant Maintenance Mechanic. Responsibilities include maintenance of production assets, electrical, mechanical, refrigeration and hydraulic systems to ensure continuous operation.

The role requires 1 year of relevant experience, ability to pass background checks, and willingness to work 1:00pm–9:00pm, Monday through Friday, in Boise, Idaho. Competitive pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year maintenance experience in food/beverage facility required.
• Pass pre-employment screenings including drug and background checks.
• Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned, unplanned and emergency maintenance on production and packaging equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections for reliability.
• Read and interpret schematics, manuals and work orders to perform service.
• Assist in installation of new equipment and improvements.
• Train operators and troubleshoot to minimize downtime.
• Document repairs and update paperwork per SOPs.
