Qualifications

• Reads electrical schematics to troubleshoot and design/install electrical projects.
• Performs preventive maintenance to keep equipment in good operating condition.
• Troubleshoots mechanical devices, dismantles and replaces defective parts.
• Operates shop equipment and tools to modify or repair parts and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Completes electrical projects; design and installs.
• Troubleshoots electrical problems and corrects as required.
• Troubleshoots mechanical devices in operation and replaces defective parts.
• Sets up and operates shop machinery (drill press, grinders, saws, torch, welder).
• Installs new or repairs hydraulic and pneumatic equipment as needed.
• Maintains and documents work orders and maintenance logs.
• Assists in inventory of parts and maintains workload records.
