Job summary

FCC Environmental Services, LLC is seeking a Plant Mechanic to perform preventative maintenance and scheduled repairs at the Roseville, CA facility. You will diagnose mechanical issues, replace belts and motors, and keep critical equipment running safely and efficiently.

The role requires practical experience with conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and machine shop skills. A high school diploma or GED is required, with a valid driver's license and the ability to work shifts, including

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of industrial experience or training.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• PLC troubleshooting with practical mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Experience with conveyors in a manufacturing setting.
• Mechanical or trade school certificate preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose or troubleshoot mechanical problems using manuals and expertise.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on recycling and C&D equipment.
• Replace belts, motors, hydraulic cylinders and other parts.
• Maintain inventories by checking stock and placing orders.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
• Fabricate repair parts with machine shop instrumentation.
• Work on heights using aerial platforms and follow safety policies.
