Job summary

FCC Environmental Services is seeking a skilled Plant Mechanic in Roseville, CA. The role focuses on preventive maintenance and repairs of fixed equipment across MRF and C&D facilities.

You will diagnose mechanical issues, replace belts and motors, weld parts, and fabricate components while adhering to safety policies. A minimum of 5 years in industrial maintenance and a valid license are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; trade sch. cert preferred.
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Proficient in hydraulic/pneumatic systems and PLC troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems using manuals and charts.
• Repair and maintain recycling and C&D equipment to maximize safety and efficiency.
• Replace belts, motors, cylinders and other mechanical parts.
• Maintain inventory of parts and supplies; place orders as needed.
• Fabricate repair parts using machine shop tools; weld and cut as required.
• May repair/install plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
