Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a Plant Maintenance Technician for our Ready-Mix facility in Arizona. You will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on conveyors, batching equipment, motors, gearboxes, and mobile equipment to keep the plant running smoothly.

Must have a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of heavy-duty maintenance experience, with strong troubleshooting and welding skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year experience in heavy-duty maintenance, preferably in Ready-Mix.
• Strong troubleshooting, mechanical repair and preventive maintenance skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Detail oriented with good time management.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and replace components on conveyors, shakers, pumps, and gearboxes.
• Perform preventative maintenance on batching equipment and rolling stock.
• Troubleshoot air compressors, valves, and hydraulic lines to minimize downtime.
• Weld and fabricate using MIG/Stick welding and torch cutting as needed.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and coordinate with vendors.
• Operate load-and-go equipment to support production during repairs.
