Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a Plant Maintenance Technician to ensure the reliability, safety, and efficiency of plant equipment and systems. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives across conveyors, shakers, pumps, gearboxes, and general facility systems.

Responsibilities include inspections, repairs, and documentation to maintain optimal production.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of heavy-duty maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of MSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Performs scheduled maintenance on crushers, conveyors, screens, pumps, motors, and other plant equipment.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems to prevent breakdowns.
• Maximizes performance of stationary equipment by performing repairs and ensuring preventative maintenance is completed on a timely basis.
• Responsible for ensuring the backlog process is completed and prioritized with the Supervisor and/or Plant Manager
• Responds promptly to equipment failures and production interruptions.
