Martin Marietta is seeking a Plant Maintenance Technician to ensure safe, reliable operation of asphalt production machinery at the Merced area plant. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair drum mixers, conveyors, and emission controls, while executing rigorous preventative maintenance and precision welding.

Emphasis on safety, quality, and environmental compliance. The role involves logging maintenance activities, coordinating with the Plant Manager on backlogs, and performing term inspections

Formación

• High school diploma or GED (or relevant experience).
• 1+ years of experience in heavy-duty industrial maintenance, preferably asphalt.
• Knowledge of equipment analysis, troubleshooting, OSHA regulations, and problem solving.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical malfunctions in asphalt plant equipment (drum dryers, elevators, screens, baghouses).
• Maximize performance of stationary equipment by performing repairs and ensuring preventative maintenance is completed on time.
• Repair or replace defective parts including gearboxes, bearings, shafts, pulleys, idlers, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
