Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. is seeking a Plant Operator to safely and efficiently operate our plant and assist with delivery scheduling. The role reports to the Production Manager and offers a competitive benefits package.

The hiring range is $34.00-$39.00 per hour, exclusive of benefits or bonuses, with eligibility for full-time benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with matching, and pension. This position emphasizes safety, teamwork and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Operate plant equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Support scheduling and coordination of deliveries to keep production on track.
• Monitor plant processes and report anomalies to supervision.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas and follow all safety procedures.

Job description

The Plant Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the plant. Position will assist with the scheduling of deliveries. Position reports to the Production Manager. The hiring range for this position is $25 -$35 exclusive of benefits or bonuses (discretionary and non-discretionary). The offered base compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, business need, market conditions, proficiencies, skills, education, and experience. Additionally, at Martin Marietta we place a high value on internal pay equity and will consider the compensation for those in similarly situated roles and direct team members. The hiring range for this role represents the base compensation we expect to pay for the position at time of hire and does not represent the total possible base pay of the position.
