Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections across building systems and manufacturing equipment. You will apply mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic knowledge to prevent downtime and ensure safety compliance.

The role requires 3–5 years in plant or facility maintenance, a High School Diploma/GED, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
• 3-5 years of experience in plant, facility, or equipment maintenance, or a related technical role required.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, hoists, lifts, and material-handling equipment.
• Ability to maintain accurate maintenance and parts records.
• Ability to follow safety and housekeeping procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections across building systems and manufacturing equipment.
• Apply working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks to reduce unplanned downtime.
• Communicate equipment conditions and scheduled work to production and maintenance leadership/teams.
• Remove and replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, hoists, lifts, or material-handling equipment.
• Support troubleshooting and escalate complex or non-routine problems.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage.
• Inspect tools, equipment, and work areas for safety and housekeeping compliance.
• Monitor maintenance supplies, parts, and tools and report replenishment needs.
