Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a capable maintenance assistant in Murfreesboro, TN to perform routine tasks, inspect and repair equipment, and support facility operations. You will help with preventative maintenance, keep accurate records, and assist with grounds upkeep.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems, strong mechanical aptitude, and good communication and teamwork skills to maintain a safe, clean environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, cleaning, and repairing equipment and machinery.
• Conduct facility inspections and address maintenance requirements.
• Assist with troubleshooting and repairing electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Support grounds repair and maintenance, including landscaping, irrigation, and snow removal.
• Maintain computer-based records of work orders, repairs, and maintenance schedules.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Comply with safety regulations and report hazards.
• Assist with preventative maintenance to extend equipment lifespan and minimize downtime.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
