Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support routine and preventative upkeep at our Arlington, TN facility. You will inspect, clean, and repair equipment, perform inspections, document work orders, and collaborate with a team to ensure safety and efficiency.

We seek candidates with strong mechanical aptitude, knowledge of electrical/plumbing/HVAC basics, and the ability to read technical manuals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in maintenance or similar role preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing routine maintenance tasks, such as inspecting, cleaning, and repairing equipment and machinery.
• Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify maintenance requirements and address them promptly.
• Assist in troubleshooting and repairing electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Support the maintenance team in repairing and maintaining the grounds, including landscaping, irrigation, and snow removal.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and maintenance schedules.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure a safe and clean working environment for employees and visitors.
• Comply with all safety regulations and procedures, reporting any safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist in performing preventative maintenance activities to prolong the lifespan of equipment and minimize downtime.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner.
