Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a Maintenance Lead Person to ensure operational readiness, safety, and reliability across our aggregate plants. You will supervise a small technician team, perform advanced maintenance, and drive process improvements to meet production goals, including mechanical systems, electrical work, and basic structural tasks.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, diagnostics, reporting, and collaboration with vendors and leadership to meet standards.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of related experience in heavy-duty or aggregate plant maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of equipment repair concepts and MSHA regulations.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate equipment to improve availability, capability, and yield.
• Lead plant maintenance projects and vendor selection.
• Develop reports on capacity, yield, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with MSHA and safety standards.
• Train and coach team on maintenance best practices.
• Maintain maintenance records in plant systems.
