Job summary

SRM Concrete is seeking a Plant Maintenance Technician to keep our concrete production flowing. You will handle a variety of maintenance tasks, inspect equipment, and perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.

The role requires hands-on skills in electrical, plumbing, and welding, with a focus on safety and reliability. You’ll document work and collaborate with plant leaders to prioritize repairs, including possible emergency calls.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with plant, industrial, or manufacturing maintenance, preferably in concrete or heavy industry.
• Electrical, plumbing, and welding skills relevant to plant equipment.
• Able to troubleshoot and repair mechanical/electrical/plumbing issues under pressure.
• Strong safety mindset and adherence to plant safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair plant equipment to keep production running.
• Inspect equipment regularly to preempt failures and plan maintenance.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and document work.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing problems as they arise.
• Weld, fabricate, or reinforce equipment and structures as needed.
• Coordinate with plant leaders to prioritize repairs and manage safety.
