Job summary

Alphia is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing facilities in all areas of the production process. You will form, fabricate, and assemble components for experimental projects, and repair or modify equipment to ensure reliable operation.

The role requires the ability to operate plant equipment and basic tools, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot issues while maintaining safety and GMP standards.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: One year experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to efficiently operate plant equipment (electrical instruments, welders, lathes, grinders, etc.).
• Ability to perform basic machine setups and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Form and fabricate parts and components from directions.
• Use machine tools and instruments with metals and other materials.
• Troubleshoot malfunctioning machines and systems and implement repairs as approved.
• Maintain understanding of plant equipment and perform maintenance under supervision.
• Establish and maintain preventive maintenance schedules.
• Ensure equipment and facilities are fully operational and safe.
