Job summary

Allegheny Petroleum Products Company seeks a Facility Maintenance Technician to safely perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repairs, and general facility upkeep in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. This hands-on role requires prioritizing multiple tasks while upholding safety, quality, and operational excellence.

You will troubleshoot equipment, coordinate repairs, and support plant systems under the General Manager, Operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; technical cert/assoc. degree preferred.
• Experience with mechanical/electrical systems and troubleshooting.
• Ability to follow instructions and use hand/power tools.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs on facility systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment and coordinate repairs with managers.
• Plan repair work using blueprints or manuals.
• Carry out general repairs (drywall, painting, doors, fixtures).
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on pumps, air compressors, conveyors, heaters, label machines, etc.
• Maintain compliance with safety schedules and monitor equipment condition.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and assist in building upkeep.
• Order supplies and materials for maintenance.
• Possible general labor tasks in shipping/receiving, packaging, and blending.
