The role requires mechanical and electrical maintenance experience within a manufacturing setting, safety-focused practices, and ability to work as part of a team to keep production lines running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing setting with mechanical and/or electrical discipline.
• Awareness of food safety standards in maintenance tasks.
• Experience operating forklifts, skid steers, telehandlers, and scissors lifts is preferred.
• Knowledge of safety procedures: confined space, lockout/tagout, fall protection, hot work.
• Strong communication and ability to follow instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Perform weekly, monthly, and annual preventative maintenance on production equipment, buildings and grounds.
• Repair or replace grinders, augers, pumps, motors, and gear boxes as needed.
• Respond to emergencies promptly and minimize downtime.
• Operate and maintain welding and fabrication equipment.
• Perform general housekeeping and ensure safety compliance in all tasks.
• Maintain accurate work orders and inventory records.
