Job summary

Imerys in Marble Hill, GA seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the mechanical maintenance team and safeguard the reliability of fixed plant assets. You will supervise on-site maintenance, drive preventive and predictive programs, and ensure safe, high-quality work aligned with production needs.

You will coordinate planning with production and manage parts, tooling, and CMMS data while championing continuous improvement and cost-effective maintenance strategies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of mechanical maintenance processes including preventive/predictive maintenance such as vibration, oil and thermal analysis.
• Strong communication, leadership, and coaching abilities.
• Ability to plan, schedule and optimize maintenance with available resources.

Responsibilities

• Manages the mechanical workforce and provides on-site expertise to ensure maintenance is completed efficiently.
• Develops, implements, and revises preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Ensures maintenance is planned, scheduled, and cost-effective.
• Participates in weekly planning with production supervisors and management.
• Assists in procuring parts, materials, and coordinating rebuilds.
• Maintains equipment availability to meet production demands.
• Oversees lubrication and PM tasks and maintains CMMS data integrity.
• Develops training plans to improve equipment uptime.
