Job summary

Saint-Gobain Group is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily electrical maintenance activities in Peachtree City, GA. You will lead safety and TPM initiatives, drive preventative maintenance, and ensure equipment reliability across plant operations.

Manage skilled maintenance staff, coordinate with other departments to minimize downtime, perform root-cause analysis, and develop SOPs. A 2-year degree in electrical discipline and 5+ years of supervisory experience are required.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree in Electrical discipline (equivalent experience may be considered).
• 5+ years of Supervisory experience.
• Good working knowledge of industrial automation, PLCs, VFDs, SCADA and Servo technology.
• Proficient in MS Office (SAP a plus).
• General understanding of ISO methodology (ISO 9001, 14001, & OHSAS 18001).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, 5S & Six Sigma a plus.
• Strong skills in electrical troubleshooting and fault analysis.

Responsibilities

• Organize planned and unplanned repairs and preventive maintenance routines to ensure efficient operation of equipment and plant systems.
• Direct hourly electrical maintenance staff in the upkeep of plant equipment, buildings, machinery, and utilities.
• Communicate expectations, measure performance, coach, and administer disciplinary actions when needed.
• Provide input into planning and scheduling of projects.
• Plan, evaluate, organize, and implement maintenance activities and coordinate with other departments to minimize downtime and maximize safety.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement countermeasures on maintenance losses.
• Ensure PMs are accomplished timely and to a high standard of quality.
• Develop PMs with Maintenance Manager to drive reliability.
• Support TPM teams in equipment ledgers and problem solving.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and work instructions.
• Maintain records of plant and equipment performance.
• Support autonomous maintenance through training and conditioning of equipment.
• Improve the reliability of production equipment.
• Review JSA and SOPs; participate in ongoing safety/job analysis.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
