Job summary

Ag Processing Inc is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Superintendent to lead maintenance and instrumentation operations in Sheldon, IA. This pivotal role focuses on mentoring staff, solving problems, and keeping equipment and facilities running safely and efficiently.

You will supervise daily maintenance activities, manage work orders, and coordinate with operations to meet plant goals. Experience in mechanical/electrical systems and familiarity with INFOR is preferred.

Qualifications

• Technical school or college degree preferred; high school diploma required.
• 2+ years maintenance and supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical/electrical principles; able to work with industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily maintenance department activities, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Assign and track work orders; ensure documentation and timely completion.
• Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot plant equipment for reliable operation.
• Manage warehouse inventory and parts purchasing.
• Use INFOR system to enter, track, and update work orders and preventive maintenance.
• Participate in Process Safety Management Mechanical Integrity Team to promote safety.
• Prepare maintenance reports, timesheets, and incident reports.
• Collaborate with operations to support plant goals.
