Job summary

LGI Foundation in Denison, Iowa is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead and develop the plant maintenance team, oversee installation and repair of equipment, and ensure safe, compliant operations.

You will collaborate with engineering and production, implement preventive maintenance, manage budgets, and coordinate with contractors while maintaining a strong safety culture.

The role requires leadership, deep PLC/electrical knowledge, and hands-on experience in food processing environments.

Qualifications

• Associates or bachelor’s degree in Maintenance, Industrial Technology, Engineering or related field preferred.
• 5-7 years of related work experience.
• 3 years supervisory experience required; strong electrical and PLC knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Supervises maintenance crew involved in maintenance and installation of equipment and systems.
• Develops and sets priorities for the preventive maintenance program for operations machinery, plant, utilities and grounds.
• Collaborates with engineering and production teams on layouts and modifications for new equipment and processes.
• Ensures safety policies and OSHA compliance are followed and budgets for repairs are prepared and monitored.
• Coordinates with contractors, vendors, and suppliers for cost-efficient installations or repairs.
