The role focuses on reducing downtime, overseeing preventative maintenance, and ensuring compliance with SQF and GMP while fostering a safe, well-trained workforce. Some weekend work may be required and relocation is possible depending on the facility.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years as a maintenance lead or supervisor with direct reports.
• Experience in leading, evaluating and training a team of technicians.
• Strong knowledge of PLC, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Familiarity with GMP and SQF in a food manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct a staff of 15 maintenance technicians to ensure uptime.
• Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program for plant equipment.
• Diagnose and repair basic electrical, mechanical, and PLC problems.
• Promote a Safety First culture and maintain a clean, compliant environment.
