Job summary

HP Hood LLC is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily maintenance of plant equipment and facilities. The role involves planning projects, managing a team of technicians, and ensuring alignment with SQF, GMP, and safety standards.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in plant maintenance, 3+ years in supervision, and experience with mechanical/electrical systems, PLCs, and ammonia refrigeration. The position requires collaboration with Plant Manager and external vendors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a plant/manufacturing setting.
• At least 3 years of supervisory/management experience.
• Food or beverage industry background preferred.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience with PLCs and ammonia refrigeration preferred.
• Experience working with outside vendors and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance team activities and coordinate with Plant Manager.
• Maintain equipment and resolve mechanical malfunctions to boost productivity.
• Foster a positive work environment with training and safety emphasis.
• Create and manage maintenance work orders and assign staff.
• Plan projects with Plant Manager and manage inventories, parts, and vendor communications.
• Support SQF by maintaining food safety/quality and GMP compliance.
