Job summary

HP Hood seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily maintenance operations and plant facilities. You will lead a team, coordinate with the Plant Manager, and drive safety, quality, and cost improvements in a food manufacturing environment.

The role requires 5+ years in maintenance, 3+ years in supervision, and experience with mechanical/electrical systems, PLCs, and ammonia refrigeration. On-site work with a focus on GMPs and SQF compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a plant/manufacturing setting.
• 至少 3 years of supervisory/management experience.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience with PLCs and ammonia refrigeration preferred.
• Food or beverage industry background preferred.
• Experience working with outside vendors and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Direct and plan daily maintenance team activities.
• Repair and maintain equipment to support productivity.
• Foster a safe, productive work environment and staff development.
• Create and track maintenance work orders and supervise completion.
• Plan projects with the Plant Manager and manage costs.
• Coordinate parts inventories and vendor communication.
• Support SQF compliance and maintain sanitary and GMP standards in the work area.
• Back up maintenance technicians as needed.
