Job summary

Ocean Spray is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team responsible for maintaining plant equipment and systems in a cost-effective way. You will direct daily activities, ensure preventive and corrective maintenance, and support budget planning to maximize production time.

Qualifications include a BS/BA in engineering and 3+ years in a supervisory manufacturing role, with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering or related major or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years' experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent understanding of manufacturing operations
• Strong ability to influence, provide leadership, work in a team environment or independently
• Able to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
• Good facilitation/training skills

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate and facilitate the daily activities of a maintenance team to ensure completion of preventative and corrective maintenance safely, timely and cost-efficiently
• Oversee maintenance and repair of plant equipment and systems to maximize production time
• Assist in maintenance budget development, monitor spending and report operating costs
• Collaborate with HR and plant management on staffing, training and employee relations
• Ensure environmental, health and safety (EHS) compliance and food safety requirements are met
• Identify and recommend new equipment and production assets to support operations
