Job summary

Custom Building Products is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for our Frankfort, IN plant. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, providing leadership to mechanics across shifts and collaborating with all departments to ensure reliable equipment operation and efficient manufacturing processes.

You will guide improvements to reduce waste, cut costs, and boost productivity, leveraging strong planning, problem solving, and project management skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of managing employees in a multi-shift plant environment.
• Experience ensuring reliable operation of plant equipment and upgrading processes to cut waste and costs.
• Demonstrated depth of technical and operational expertise; strong planning and problem solving.
• Ability to lead by example, influence others, and manage projects effectively.
• Bachelor's degree desired; safety minded with knowledge of occupational hazards.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanics across shifts to keep equipment running and maintenance on schedule.
• Develop methods to upgrade manufacturing processes to improve productivity and reduce costs.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Shipping, Warehousing, Receiving, and Maintenance teams.
• Plan, prioritize, delegate tasks, and follow up to ensure timely results.
