Job summary

West Liberty Foods, L.L.C. in Bolingbrook, IL is seeking a Maintenance Superintendent to lead the maintenance teams on the 1st shift and ensure safe, efficient production at our facility.

You will supervise the maintenance supervisor and guide preventative and predictive maintenance to uphold quality and plant performance. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in manufacturing maintenance, knowledge of CMRP or similar platforms, strong leadership, and a willingness to work extended hours including

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in a manufacturing environment and maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of CMRP or other maintenance planning platforms.
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop others.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorships.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work extended hours including weekends.
• Must follow food safety guidelines and HACCP requirements.

• Lead team to manage daily preventive and predictive maintenance assignments.
• Use analytical and troubleshooting skills to improve processes and coach teammates.
• Ensure team training and compliance with job duties, rules, regulations and policies.
• Audit and develop team members with department and organization.
• Make daily improvements with customer-focused mindset.
• Foster cross-functional teamwork to meet plant and company goals and ensure safe operations.
• Demonstrate big-picture vision and hands-on leadership with the team.
• Organize daily tasks and ensure availability of materials and tools.
• Adapt to changes and troubleshoot downtime effectively.
• Provide detailed follow-up reports to upper management.
• Conduct performance reviews and handle special projects.
