Chobani is seeking a Maintenance Technician to repair and perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment, including filling machines, detectors, case erectors, packers, sealers, pasteurizers, motors, pumps and conveyors. You will troubleshoot electrical/mechanical breakdowns, follow GMPs and OSHA/EHS standards, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualified candidates have 2–5 years in food manufacturing, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work a 2-2-3 schedule

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2–5 years in food production/manufacturing while operating, repairing, and troubleshooting filling, packaging, and processing equipment.
• Experience with pumps, mechanical drives, lubrication, piping, and motors preferred.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics; use technical manuals and precision tools.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot complex issues rapidly with limited information.
• Interact with plant personnel and communicate clearly across levels.
• Work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Provide guidance to operations staff and act as a technical resource.
• Identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Follow standard work orders and ensure safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
• Work over extended hours and in hot or cool environments as required.
