Job summary

TAI in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a Back Maintenance & Engineering Manager to lead maintenance and engineering operations at a manufacturing facility. You will drive equipment reliability, oversee continuous improvement initiatives, and partner with operations to ensure safe, efficient plant performance.

You will manage a talented team, guide capital projects, and ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards while shaping asset strategy and performance across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of maintenance, engineering, reliability, or asset management in manufacturing.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing maintenance, engineering, or reliability teams.
• Experience implementing preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
• Experience using CMMS data to drive performance improvements.
• Strong knowledge of OEE, PM, availability, MTBF, and downtime reduction.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of maintenance and engineering professionals.
• Drive proactive maintenance culture with root-cause analysis and reliability improvements.
• Manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to maximize uptime.
• Monitor KPIs like OEE, PM compliance, downtime, MTBF, and backlog.
• Leverage CMMS data to identify trends and optimize asset performance.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Process Engineering, and Operations to align priorities.
• Lead capital projects, equipment upgrades, and plant improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop maintenance planning, scheduling, and asset management processes.
• Support reliability-centered and predictive maintenance technologies.
• Manage departmental budgets and resource planning.
• Develop succession plans and training for the team.
