Job summary

Kerry in Manitowoc, WI seeks a Maintenance Lead to guide the site maintenance team, maximize machine availability, and uphold safety and reliability across manufacturing operations. You will drive permanent corrective actions, oversee equipment life extension, and manage maintenance budgets.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, you’ll lead engineering projects, coordinate with production, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering cost‑effective solutions and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in maintenance/engineering.
• 3+ years of supervisory or leadership in manufacturing.
• Experience with CMMS and CAD drawings interpretation.
• Food manufacturing experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety culture and ensure compliance with policies and standards.
• Direct weekly schedules, urgent repairs, and daily maintenance to support operations.
• Lead maintenance program execution to minimize downtime.
• Develop and coach a high-performing maintenance team.
• Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance budget.
• Collaborate with production and central engineering for priorities.
• Maintain accurate technical records and oversee contractors.
• Support capital projects from concept through commissioning.
