Job summary

DSJ Global is seeking a Maintenance Leader for a major chemical manufacturing site in Madison, Wisconsin. The role focuses on safety, reliability, and efficiency, directing maintenance strategies to maximize equipment uptime and asset performance.

You will lead maintenance teams, manage budgets and contractors, and partner with engineering for capital projects and process improvements, while advancing Lean and continuous improvement within the maintenance organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in chemical/pharma manufacturing.
• Minimum 5 years of maintenance leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Strong track record of improving equipment reliability and plant performance.
• Experience with CMMS and maintenance planning systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant maintenance to ensure safe, reliable production.
• Drive preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
• Plan, schedule, and optimize maintenance work using CMMS.
• Develop maintenance personnel through coaching and training.
• Manage maintenance budgets, resources, contractors, and priorities.
• Support capital projects and equipment installations.
• Foster safety, environmental and operational standards.
• Lead continuous improvement and Lean initiatives.
• Optimize spare parts management and maintenance planning.
• Identify opportunities for long-term operational improvements.
