Job summary

Colonial Group oversees plant equipment and facilities to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operation. You will lead preventive maintenance, coordinate repairs, and optimize energy and water use while fostering strong ties with Market Center Management and Engineering teams.

You will manage a maintenance staff, schedule tasks, read maintenance literature, and ensure compliance with safety guidelines. A 2-year technical degree and driver’s license are required, with CMMS experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical college degree or certificate or equivalent experience.
• 2 years experience managing a maintenance staff.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing and large machinery maintenance.
• Experience with maintenance management systems; CMMS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of plant equipment and facilities to ensure safe operation.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance scheduling and execution.
• Seeks efficient repair solutions and coordinates with cross-functional teams.
• Monitor energy and water usage and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed and manage maintenance staff.
• Liaise with Market Center management and Engineering on maintenance issues.
