Job summary

OPmobility in Charleston, SC seeks a Maintenance Manager to lead planning and execution of plant maintenance aligned with SHE standards. You will develop predictive, preventative and curative programs, manage maintenance spares, and train workforce to optimise equipment reliability.

You will allocate labour, set budgets, review CAPEX requirements, supervise subcontractors, and ensure quality of work meets company and regulatory expectations (electrical, compressed air, etc.).

Qualifications

• Certification in maintenance-related fields (mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, or pneumatics).
• Proven experience in maintaining complex production equipment and managing maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Predictive and Preventive maintenance techniques.
• Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Corporate and Division SHE objectives and requirements.
• Allocate sufficient labour and skills to deliver the production planning programme.
• Set and manage the maintenance budget and CAPEX requirements.
• Create and develop planned predictive, preventative and curative maintenance programmes, spares, and workforce training.
• Maintain a fully controlled maintenance stores system.
• Ensure quality of work meets company and regulatory standards (electrical, compressed air, etc.).
• Coordinate maintenance sub-contractors and permits.
• Provide support on new programs development with the Program development team.
• Organise and lead maintenance activities in the plant following SHE requirements.
