Job summary

Castrol is seeking a maintenance and reliability leader at our Baton Rouge site to drive safe work, improve asset performance and lead a team of technicians and contractors. You will own maintenance plans, scheduling, and data-driven decisions to ensure reliable production.

Qualified candidates bring 7+ years in manufacturing maintenance or engineering, 5+ years in leadership, and hands-on experience with SAP, Maximo or Ultimo CMMS systems in a plant environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline or equivalent technical education.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing maintenance, reliability or engineering.
• 5+ years of maintenance or reliability leadership with direct people-management responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site maintenance and reliability organization, developing the team and creating accountability for safe work execution, equipment reliability and technical standards.
• Own maintenance and reliability performance across assets including mechanical, process, utility and facility systems.
• Lead preventive, predictive and condition-based maintenance strategies to improve equipment availability.
• Drive root-cause problem solving to eliminate chronic equipment failures.
• Own maintenance work management: identification, planning, scheduling, execution and closeout.
• Use the CMMS as the site system of record to strengthen equipment history and data-driven decisions.
