Job summary

PPG Industries, Inc in Circleville, OH is seeking a Maintenance Planner Scheduler to plan Mechanical Integrity work, coordinate with Reliability Engineering, and create schedules for PMs and project work at the Circleville Plant.

You will develop weekly, monthly, and yearly plans to ensure 100% scheduling, manage CMMS inputs, and report to the Maintenance Manager. This role emphasizes thorough planning and cross‑functional communication.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; an associate's degree with equivalent maintenance scheduling experience is highly preferred, or a BS with 3–6 years in planning/scheduling for maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Plan Mechanical Integrity work and create schedules for planned/projects.
• Obtain quotes or bids following Purchasing Guidelines.
• Develop job scopes for planned work and projects.
• Create schedules for upcoming jobs and coordinate contractor resources.
• Communicate with Maintenance/Contractor Supervisors on planned work.
• Plan parts and supplies for planned/project work.
• Attend MI meetings and schedule outages as needed.
• Complete all work orders timely within the CMMS.
• Maintain accurate job plans and CMMS details.
• Track outages for planned work and issue purchase orders for parts.
