Job summary

PPG is seeking a Maintenance Planner Scheduler for our Circleville, OH plant. You will plan Mechanical Integrity work, coordinate with Reliability Engineering, and schedule planned and project work orders to ensure 100% PM scheduling.

You will report to the Maintenance Manager and contribute to continuous improvement, parts planning, and outage coordination while leveraging CMMS for accurate maintenance planning.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required; associate degree preferred with 6–10 years in scheduling, or BS with 3–6 years in planning/scheduling for maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Obtain quotes or bids for planned jobs and projects per Purchasing Guidelines.
• Develop job scope for planned or project work.
• Create schedule for upcoming jobs.
• Coordinate contractors and maintenance staff for planned/projects.
• Communicate with maintenance/contractor supervisors on planned/project work.
• Plan and communicate parts and supplies needed for planned/project work.
• Attend MI meetings and schedule outages as needed.
• Complete all work orders in CMMS in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate job plans in CMMS.
