Job summary

Knife River Northwest in Oregon seeks a Plant Maintenance/Millwright to help maintain and repair Aggregate, Ready mix, and Asphalt plants. Work hours are 6:00 pm - 2:00 am, Monday through Friday, with potential weekend/overtime and travel as needed.

Wage range is $27.38 - $41.92 per hour, with shift differential possible. Applicants should have prior plant maintenance, millwright, or mechanic experience, strong hydraulic troubleshooting skills, and a clean driving record.

Job Summary

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Help maintain and repair Aggregate, Ready mix, and Asphalt plants.
• Complete all paperwork that may be necessary.
• Assure that all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent all unsafe actions, processes and behaviors observed.
• Other duties designed as needed.

Schedule

Hours: 6:00 pm - 2:00 am - Monday - Friday.

Wage range: $27.38 - $41.92

Shift differential pay may apply.

Must have the ability to work flexible shifts which include weekends, overtime, and some travel as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Previous plant maintenance, millwright, or mechanic experience
• Strong trouble shooting skills of hydraulic systems
• Welding and fabrication experience desirable
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check, physical, functional exam, and a drug screen.
• Display a professional and courteous attitude towards all team members.
