Job summary

Knife River Northwest in Beaverton, Oregon is seeking a Plant Maintenance Technician to help maintain and repair Aggregate, Ready mix and Asphalt plants. The role includes completing required paperwork, adhering to safety policies, and performing other duties as needed.

Shift is 6:00 pm to 2:00 am, Monday through Friday, with a wage range of $27.38 to $41.92 per hour. Shift differential may apply; weekend/overtime and some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous plant maintenance, millwright, or mechanic experience required.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for hydraulic systems are needed.
• Welding and fabrication experience is desirable.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass pre-employment checks.
• Professional and courteous attitude toward team members.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Help maintain and repair Aggregate, Ready mix, and Asphalt plants.
• Complete all paperwork that may be necessary.
• Assure that all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent all unsafe actions, processes and behaviors observed.
• Other duties designed as needed.

Schedule

Hours: 6:00 pm - 2:00 am - Monday - Friday.

Wage range: $27.38 - $41.92

Shift differential pay may apply.

Must have the ability to work flexible shifts which include weekends, overtime, and some travel as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Previous plant maintenance, millwright, or mechanic experience
• Strong trouble shooting skills of hydraulic systems
• Welding and fabrication experience desirable
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check, physical, functional exam, and a drug screen.
• Display a professional and courteous attitude towards all team members.
