Job summary

Knife River Corporation is seeking a resilient maintenance technician to support the Saint Helens, Oregon plants. You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on aggregate, ready-mix, and asphalt systems, ensuring operational readiness and safety compliance.

The role requires flexibility for shifts, occasional overtime, weekend work, and travel as needed. You will complete paperwork and uphold Knife River's safety standards while collaborating with a skilled team to

Qualifications

• Previous plant maintenance, millwright, or mechanic experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills of hydraulic systems.
• Welding and fabrication experience desirable.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screen.
• Professional and courteous attitude toward all team members.

Responsibilities

• Help maintain and repair Aggregate, Ready mix, and Asphalt plants.

Job Summary

• Help maintain and repair Aggregate, Ready mix, and Asphalt plants.

Schedule

Hours: 6:00 pm – 2:00 am, Monday – Friday.

Wage range: $27.38 - $41.92.

Shift differential pay may apply.

Must have the ability to work flexible shifts, which include weekends, overtime, and some travel as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Previous plant maintenance, millwright, or mechanic experience.
